In November 2007, the evil Kansas City Southern Railroad went ahead and demolished the old Union Tank Car building, one of the most significant historic buildings in Baton Rouge (if not the most). Designed by Buckminster Fuller as a repair station for railroad tank cars, this geodesic dome was the largest of its kind built at the time (1958). Demolished under the cloak of night and a holiday weekend. Nope, not fishy at all.
What a crime !! I love Bucky and his architecture. Hope all is going well. Work is good and am slowly catching up on bills. Let me know if you make progress with Zooazoic. My friend Anthony can't participate, at least this summer. Also - am checking into viability of doing SM for decadence. I will keep you guys posted. Robert
